Raijon Kelly and Tim Williams had 15 points apiece for Samford, which claimed its first road victory against The Citadel.
DENTON, Texas (AP) — Tony Mitchell and P.J. Hardwick had 14 points each to lead a balanced North Texas attack in a 66-56 victory against South Alabama on Saturday night. The Mean Green never trailed and had all five starters score in double figures, with Jordan Williams adding 13 points, Alzee Williams 11 and Roger Franklin 10.
