SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Round one of the PGA's Phoenix Open is on tap today. This is a short of week of rest for some of the players as the Farmers Insurance Open wasn't completed until this past Monday. The defending champion is Kyle Stanley.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (AP) — There's a good matchup in the NBA this evening as Oklahoma City plays host to Memphis. The Thunder have a record of 34-11, while the Grizzlies are 29-15. They rank as two of the top teams in the Western Conference.

UNDATED (AP) — There's a light night of play in men's top-25 basketball. The highest-ranked school in action is No. 7 Gonzaga (gahn-ZAG'-uh) as the 19-2 Zags are playing at Loyola Marymount.

NEW YORK (AP) — Brooklyn and Miami, two of the top teams in the NBA East, squared off last night in New York with the Heat coming out on top, 105-86. Miami has won 13 straight from the Nets.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Donald Driver is calling it quits. The veteran Green Bay receiver announced plans on retiring next week. He will leave the Packers as the team's all-time leader in yards receiving and catches. Driver turns 38 on Saturday.
