ATLANTA (AP) — The men's NCAA championship takes place tonight in Atlanta with Louisville facing Michigan. The top-seeded Cardinals bring a 34-5 mark into the final game of the season. The Wolverines are 31-7.

UNDATED (AP) — The Los Angeles Clippers can call themselves Pacific Division champions for the first time in their history. The Clippers have wrapped up the division crown by downing the Los Angeles Lakers 109-95.

UNDATED (AP) — Los Angeles Angels starter Jered Weaver left his start at Texas yesterday with a strained left elbow after diving to get out of the way of a line drive. Weaver avoided being hit by the ball, but landed awkwardly on his left arm while going down. X-rays were negative.

UNDATED (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks still lead the NHL's Western Conference by five points over Anaheim after both teams won yesterday. The Hawks trailed 3-2 until Brandon Saad and Jonathan Toews (tayvz) scored 55 seconds apart midway through the third period of a 5-3 triumph over Nashville.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) — Jimmie Johnson pulled away on a restart with eight laps to go and won the STP Gas Booster 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Johnson has earned eight victories at Martinsville, a mark topped only by Richard Petty's 15 and Darrell Waltrip's 11.
