Goldencents, Itsmyluckyday jog at Churchill Downs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Goldencents and Itsmyluckyday took their first jogs around Churchill Downs on Sunday morning, less than a week before the Kentucky Derby.

Trainers for both were pleased with the way their 3-year-old colts handled the track. Santa Anita Derby winner Goldencents showed no signs of jet lag following a cross-country trip from California, jogging a leisurely mile with exercise rider Jonny Garcia aboard. Jockey Kevin Krigger looked on, along with trainer Doug O'Neill, who won the Derby last year with I'll Have Another.

Florida Derby runner-up Itsmyluckyday jogged just over a mile following a van trip from Florida.
