MIAMI (AP) — The NBA season will come to an end tonight in Miami as the Heat play host to the Spurs. It's Game 7 of the NBA Finals with the winner walking off the floor with another championship. The Heat evened up the series at 3-3 with a win two nights ago.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — A federal judge in Oakland, Calif., hears arguments today in what could be a major lawsuit involving the NCAA. Lawyers for former student athletes are seeking to turn their lawsuit against the NCAA over compensation into a class action representing thousands of collegiate competitors. The athletes argue that the NCAA is unfairly profiting from their likenesses and images in marketing deals with video games and others. The NCAA argues many of the athletes receive scholarships in exchange for playing sports and to pay student athletes would ruin amateur athletics.
CROMWELL, Conn. (AP) — Just a few days ago Justin Rose won the U.S. Open. Today he starts play in the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn. Rose is one of six top-20 players in the 156-man field. Marc Leishman (LEESH'-muhn) won this event last year.
OMAHA (AP) — There is one game tonight in the College World Series. The contest has North Carolina playing North Carolina State. They met earlier in the tournament with NC State winning 8-1.
