Award-winning reporter Krista Littlefield joined the CBS 8 News team in December of 2007. While attending the University of Alabama, Krista interned at WBRC in her hometown of Birmingham. There she had the opportunity to learn from great veterans in the television industry.

She then landed a Reporter/Anchor position at WVUA in Tuscaloosa, where she was named "Best Feature Reporter" by the Associated Press. Krista's passion is news and always strives to bring you the hot story of the day!

Krista hits the ground running every day looking for stories and welcomes ideas from the community.

"If a picture is worth a thousand words, video must be worth a million!"

Yes, Krista does have hobbies when she's not in the newsroom. She enjoys horseback riding and tennis. During the summer you can spot her boating with her husband, Lloyd, who also works in TV, right up the road in Birmingham.
