Come On, Sunshine! Print E-mail

Less cloudy today!  Expecting sunshine to start things out after an overcast morning and temperatures will break through 60, up to 62.

While that large upper low over the northwest Atlantic is pushing south and east, we'll still feel the effects.  Clouds will increase tonight and we'll once again deal with northerly winds.  Still looking towards tomorrow afternoon with a 30% chance for rain, with less than 0.1" falling for locations that actually see rain.

We'll see only a marginal warm-up with temperatures in the low and mid 60s for highs, low and mid 40s for lows (over 5 degrees below normal for mid-March) through Thursday.  Friday we get to where we should be for this time of the year, with highs near 70 and low 70s by Saturday.

Now, I wish I could tell you that next weekend is going to be grand, but right now that's not the case.  The good news is that models continue to delay the timing of a cold front and adjacent showers/thunderstorms, so we could get through the daylight hours on Saturday rain free.  Cross your fingers, and I will too!
