Montgomery Homicide Investigation

Montgomery police are investigating the city’s 45th homicide of the year.

The shooting happened in the 3100 block of Virginia Downs about 3:45 Tuesday morning.

Police say an adult male was found with gunshot wounds on the scene.

He was transported to a local hospital where he died.

The circumstances surrounding this shooting are under investigation, but Police Chief Kevin Murphy say it appears to be a case of domestic violence.
