The Alabama Department of Transportation Monitors Road Conditions Ahead of Cold Temperatures Moving Across the State
The Alabama Department of Transportation is monitoring road conditions ahead of those cold temperatures moving across the state. During extreme winter and cold weather conditions, ALDOT, along with local authorities, monitors road and bridge conditions and keeps resources on standby statewide to step in where needed.
They’re asking you to be alert for icy road and bridge conditions, to adjust your speed on the roadways, and to allow extra travel time for trips.
