UPDATE: Elmore County Will Open Warming Stations for Dangerously Cold Weather
The Elmore County Emergency Management Agency & Homeland Security Office, in coordination with partners of the Elmore County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), is announcing the opening of five “Warming Stations” in Elmore County, starting at noon on January 6th.
Warming Stations with 24-hour Operations:
First Baptist Church – 1279 Friendship Road, Tallassee
First United Methodist Church of Millbrook – 3350 Edgewood Road, Millbrook
First United Methodist Church of Tallassee – 1 Jordan Avenue, Tallassee
Robinson Springs United Methodist Church – 5980 Main Street, Millbrook

The following location will open for limited hours on Monday and Tuesday, beginning at noon until 6 pm only.
Millbrook Baptist Church – 3431 Brown Rd, Millbrook. OPEN:Â Jan 6th & 7th, from noon to 6 pm only.
