Suspect Arrested in Child Shooting Incident
(Montgomery) — Montgomery Police have charged a suspect in the wounding of a seven year old boy on Thursday in Gibbs Village Public Housing development.
Twenty-three year old T Marquaries Williams is charged with one count of second-degree assault and is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility, under a $7,500 bond.
MPD’s investigation is continuing, and additional arrests are expected. MPD’s investigation indicates the child was struck in an exchange of gunfire that occurred at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Hilldale and Crossway drives. The child is reported to be recovering well.
