18-wheeler Accident Shut Down Interstate 85; Lanes Now Open
An 18-wheeler accident shut down Interstate 85 in Macon County this morning. The accident happened at mile marker 47 in the northbound lane.
State troopers say the 18-wheeler overturned and there was a fuel spill. While the accident scene is being cleaned up, traffic was being detoured at the Wire Road exit.
All lanes are now open and traffic is flowing normally.
