“Fourth Saturday” Event Promotes Community Outreach

King Memorial Baptist Church hosted its Fourth Saturday event on Saturday in Montgomery.

The outreach festival is a new event the church plans to have every month. Organizers say it’s a way for church members to reach out to the community by providing free haircuts, free health screenings, free dental checks, and an open food pantry.

Also on site–the Alabama Career Bus to help unemployed people build resumes and get back on their feet.

The next event is planned for the last Saturday in February.
