Teen Accused of Calling in Southlawn Threat Arrested

Montgomery police say a teenager accused of calling in a threat to a local school has been arrested.

The threat prompted a lockdown at Southlawn Middle School Monday and police say the caller referred to someone on campus being armed with a gun. Department spokesman Regina Duckett says authorities treated the situation as if there was an active shooter on campus, although no weapons were recovered.

The identity of the teen who was arrested has not been released.
