Auburn’s Denson, Harrell Scoring Points Aplenty

Auburn’s Chris Denson and KT Harrell represent one of college basketball’s best scoring duos this season.
   
The Tigers’ guards took it to another level Thursday night against Alabama. Denson had 32 points, Harrell 23 and they matched the Crimson Tide point for point in a 74-55 win.
   
As Auburn coach Tony Barbee says, “Good time to have a game where both of those guys are going.”
   
Harrell and Denson have done their part to keep the Tigers’ offense going all season.
   
Denson’s 19.6-point average ranks No. 2 in the SEC. Harrell is one spot behind him at 19.3 points a game.
   
Their combined 38.9-point average leads the Southeastern Conference and is fifth-best among scoring duos in Division I basketball this season going into Saturday’s game against Georgia.
