Montgomery’s Temple Beth Or Hosts Annual Jewish Food Festival

Hundreds of people gathered today for Montgomery’s Temple Beth Or’s annual Jewish Food Festival.
This is the 11th year for the festival where you can try out some traditional foods including pastries like strudel and model bread.
There were also plates of brisket, corned beef, matzo ball soup, and potato latkes.
Most of those are homemade by temple members, but not all of them.
This year there was also authentic New York cheesecakes direct from the city’s famous Carnegie Deli.
The festival also featured a Treasure Market with handmade goods.
Visitors got the chance to learn more about Jewish culture and customs with the temple’s rabbi.
If you missed the food festival, don’t worry.
Organizers say it’s a community tradition, and they do plan to hold it again next spring.
