British Soldiers Better Mentally Than U.S. Soldiers
British soldiers seem to be doing better mentally than US soldiers after deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan.Â
Researchers in London compared results between UK and U-S studies.
They say while British soldiers reported more heavy drinking, they had better mental health than their US counterparts, possibly because British recruits are older, have shorter tours of duty and access to better healthcare.
