Burkville Man Killed in Weekend Accident
A Lowndes County man has died after a single-vehicle accident.
State Troopers say 54-year-old Arthur Middleton of Burkville was killed when the van he was driving left the roadway and struck a creek bed.
They say Middleton was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened on Lowndes County 33, 15 miles south of Hayneville Saturday morning.Â
Troopers are continuing to investigate.
