A new study finds nicotine patches do not appear to help pregnant women quit smoking.
Researchers in france looked at about 400 pregnant smokers giving some the patch and others a placebo.
They found the patch offered no benefit and say behavioral support is still the best intervention for expectant moms who smoke.
