Boys Who Play Sports More Likely to be Abusive
A new study in the journal of adolescent health finds a correlation between some sports and dating abuse among teenagers.
Researchers analyzed data from 16 California high schiools… and found teenage boys who played football, basketball, or both were about twice as likely as other boys to have abused their girlfriends.
The authors say it’s important for coaches to emphasize aggression is not o.k. off the playing field.
