Researchers Using Twitter to Track Migranes

Researchers at the University of Michigan are using Twitter to track the effects of migraines.

They poured through almost 22,000 tweets migraine sufferers sent during their painful attacks.

Among the study’s findings:

Women sent almost three-quarters of the migraine tweets.

In the U.S.,  migraine complaint tweets spiked at 9 AM and again at  8 PM eastern on weekdays.

And the most common day for migraines: Monday!
