Fairview Farmers Market May be Closing
One place to buy fresh fruits a vegetables is closing in West Montgomery. The Fairview Farmers Market may be closing. Alabama State University is ending its four-year lease with the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries that owns the building on West Fairview Avenue. The university has not said why its ending that partnership. You may recall, ASU saved the Fairview Farmers Market from closing in 2011 and has operated it ever since.
