Retired Police Officer Found Not Guilty against Rape, Sodomy Charges

A retired police officer accused of rape and sodomy is found not guilty.

Willie Toney was charged with rape, sodomy and sex abuse of a child under the age of 12. 

He was found not guilty on all counts.

The charges stem from an alleged incident that happened back in 2008. 

Toney spent 18 years with the Troy police department – and worked some of the time as a school resource officer.
