Dozens in Troy are remembering the lives of officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Officers gathered for the annual Police Memorial Day outside of the police department. Chief Jimmy Ennis read the “roll call of honor”…calling out the names of the five troy police officers killed or died in the line of duty. It has been more than thirty years since the department has lost an officer. Troy Mayor Jason Reeves signed a proclamation designated this week as Police Memorial Week in Troy.
