Early Menopause Sufferers at Risk for Heart Failure

Women who go through menopause between the ages of 40 to 45 have a 40 percent higher risk of heart failure, according to a new study in the Journal Menopause.

Researchers in Sweden looked at more than 22-thousand women for the study.

They found the risk of heart failure increased even more for early menopausal women who smoked at any point in their lives.
