Two Arrested In Pike County For Drugs
Two people are behind bars in Pike County on drug charges.Â

LaTanya Jackson, 35, and 39-year-old Derrick McKinney were arrested after Pike County sheriff’s deputies searched a home at 536 US Highway 231 near Brundidge early this morning.Â

Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas says his office has been looking into the duo for a while- part of an ongoing investigation that the two may have been selling drugs.Â

The sheriff says cocaine and marijuana were found in the home.

The two are being held in Pike County jail for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana charges.Â
