Two Etowah Co. Women Charged with Child Endangerment

Etowah County authorities say two women are charged with endangering their children with drugs.

Sheriff’s officials say 24-year-old Amy Renea Hall of Rainbow City and 21-year-old Dylan Leann Entrekin of Gadsden are both charged with chemical endangerment.

Officials say Entrekin is a second cousin of Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

A statement from the sheriff’s office says Hall is accused of using Xanax and OxyContin during her pregnancy.

The statement says Dylan Entrekin is accused of using methamphetamine daily.
  Â
Both women are charged with felonies. A judge has scheduled preliminary hearings for each woman for next month.
