Pill’s Appearance May Affect How Patients Take It
A prescription pill’s appearance may affect how patients take their medicine.
Researchers in Boston studied more than 10,000 heart patients and found the odds of a patient discontinuing prescribed treatment increased 34% after a change in pill color and 66% after a change in pill shape.
