No New Cases for Arrested Alabama Federal Judge

The wife of a federal judge who was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of hitting her told emergency dispatchers that she was being beaten and needed an ambulance.
The woman identified herself as Kelli Fuller and called 911 on Sunday to report that she was involved in a domestic dispute at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. She repeatedly asks for help and says she was being beaten. She also wanted an ambulance.
U.S. District Court Judge Mark Fuller was charged with misdemeanor battery Monday. He was released on bail and must appear in court on Aug. 22.
A notice on the website of the 11th Judicial Circuit says Fuller’s cases will be reassigned to other judges. No new matters will be assigned to him until further notice.
