Alabama Restaurant Week
200 restaurants in 53 cities offered discounts on lunch and dinner that started on August 15th.
The state tourism director says the event offers people a chance to try restaurants throughout the state at a discount.
Dreamland Barbecue says the week was definitely good for business, but there were other factors helping as well.
Six restaurants from the Montgomery area participated in the promotion.
