Body Identified in Elmore Co.
A body found in a wooded area in Elmore county is identified as a missing woman.Â
Millbrook police chief P. K. Johnson says it is 49-year-old Anita Washington. Police have charged her son, Sedrick Clayton, with murder. Â
Washington was reported missing last Wednesday.
Authorities arrested Clayton and discovered the body this weekend.
Clayton is being held in the Elmore county jail under 250 thousand dollars bond.
