Montgomery Public Schools Receive AA Credit Score
Montgomery, Ala – Montgomery Public Schools has received the second highest credit rating possible.
The system has received a AA credit rating, which will save MPS $1,000,000 on interest costs.
The school system has also raised $7,000,000 for their capitol improvement account.
Representatives from the Frazer Lanier Company, the firm that evaluated the school system, say the board is doing an excellent job with their finances.
