Habitat for Humanity Builds Home for Montgomery Family

A local family is still celebrating after getting the keys to their new home on Saturday.

It was  the 78th home Montgomery Habitat for Humanity has completed, and it now belongs to the Denesia Garrison and her family.

Like all new Habitat homeowners, the Garrisons put in more than 400 hours of time and sweat equity, volunteering on other’s homes before starting work on her own.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that helps deserving families get no-interest loans for their own homes built by volunteers. Garrison will share the home with her young children.
