Airline Workers More Likely to Get Skin Cancer
California researchers say airline pilots, and flight attendants are about twice as likely as others to get melanoma, the most common form of skin cancer.
Their study looked at more than 250,000 cases. Â
People who make a living while flying are thought to have a greater risk of melanoma because of increased UV exposure at high altitudes.
