Selma Road Crews Uncover Larger Maintenance Problem

You can never tell how bad a problem really is until you do a little digging.
That’s what Selma road crews found out last week, when they started working to fix collapsed storm drains. They were on Lauderdale street when what crews thought was single 24 inch pipe turned out to be two.
The Selma Times Journal reports the discovery won’t delay the project, but will hike the price.
The city attorney is keeping track of the expected increase in costs and is scheduled to share details Tuesday at the Selma City Council meeting.
