Prattville police are warning of a possible phone scam. They say someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House has been calling people and telling them they have won a large sum of money and a Mercedes Benz. The scammers claim that the taxes on the vehicle have to be prepaid before the winnings can be paid out and ask for the recipient’s information.
