Drought Conditions Improving

We have good news for Alabama farmers, drought conditions are improving.
A report by the U.S. Drought Monitor that tracks soil moisture across the country shows drought conditions in Alabama have improved slightly over the past week…from rom 65.0 percent TO 63.74 percent.
In southeast Alabama, cotton and peanut farmers are looking for soaking rains to improve their fields after an unusually dry summer caused their crops to start wilting.
