No. 3 Alabama Hoping To Spread Ball vs. Florida

Alabama is hoping to start spreading the ball around more offensively.
Quarterback Blake Sims and the third-ranked Crimson Tide have been mostly throwing to Amari Cooper going into Saturday’s SEC opener versus Florida.
Tailbacks T.J. Yeldon and Derrick Henry haven’t needed to do much against outclassed Florida Atlantic and Southern Miss, and preseason All-SEC tight end O.J. Howard hasn’t caught a pass.
Alabama coach Nick Saban says it’s important to get more players involved “so the other team can’t zero in on one guy.”
Receiver DeAndrew White is expected to return after missing the past two games with a right shoulder injury.
Cooper, meanwhile, is leading the nation with 33 catches.
The Tide still has rolled up more yards (1,705) through its first three games than any other ‘Bama offense.
