A Grand Jury Hands Indictments Against 2 Former Teachers

 A grand jury has handed down indictments against two former Tallapoosa County school officials. Former Councill Middle School Principal Melanie McKinney and former counselor Corey Meadows are charged with failing to report child abuse. Tallapoosa County officials say several Councill students reported sexual harassment by other students. McKinney is also charged with felony theft and forgery. Dadeville officials say she falsified paperwork to get free school lunches for family members.
