The latest model of the Iphone is on sale, and fans have lined up in the river region to buy one.
Dozens of people turned out in Montogmery early this morning at the Verizon store on Ann Street to buy their new phones. Apple announced earlier this week it sold a record 4 million of the smartphones last friday. That being the first day the phone were available for pre-order.
Fans we spoke to say it’s worth the wait.
“There’s always rumors about what the next iPhone will be. One of the rumors was a bigger screen; they did it. It was innovative when they did the fingerprint. Now it’s a bigger screen and a fingerprint and slimmer. I’m just really curious to hold it in my hand.” says Adrian Hawkins an Iphone 6 buyer.
The IPhone 6 includes a 4.5-inch touchscreen, while the IPhone 6 Plus boasts a 5.5-inch screen.
