Job Worry Can Increase Asthma Risk

Concern over job loss can boost your chances of developing asthma.

That’s according to German researchers who looked at more than 7,000 working adults during the 2008 recession.

Those who believed they were very likely to lose their job were 60% more likely to get asthma than those who were secure in their jobs.

Scientists say more research is needed to determine links between work related stress and asthma.
