Elmore County EMA Holds Preparedness Fair and Safety Day
On Saturday, the Elmore County Emergency Management Agency teamed up with Wetumpka Lowe’s to prepare for potential emergencies.
This is the sixth year for the annual Preparedness Fair and Safety Day, including hands on activities for kids like a fire house, scavenger hunt and demonstrations.         Â
Organizers say they they hold the event every year to help local families get ready for emergencies.
September is National Emergency Preparedness Month.
