Funeral Arrangements Complete For Demario Harris

Funeral arrangements are complete for the Charles Henderson High School football player who died on Sunday after Friday night tackle. Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at Sartain Hall on Troy University’s campus and the funeral will follow at 2 PM. Harris died Sunday at a Dothan hospital, just days before his 18th birthday. Harris was a cornerback for the Charles Henderson High School football team. He collapsed on the field during Friday night’s game against Davidson.
Donations are still being accepted for the harris family. You can send a check to the address on your screen. The foundation asks that checks be made out to CHAF with Demario Harris’ name put in the memo line. T-shirts are also being sold for ten dollars, with all proceeds going to the family. You can order them at the front offices of all three Troy city schools.
