Prattville Apartment Project Enterance Declined

The County Planning commission has decided against allowing a new Prattville apartment project enterance connect with an existing street. Apartments proposed for McQueen Smith Road were going to have two entrances, Including one connecting with a neighborhood next door called “Pecan Ridge”. But Pecan Ridge residents objected, and now the planning commission has fallen short of a unamious vote needed to allow that road connection. The builders can go back before the commission a year from now, or redesign the road and offer the new plan to the board.
