Wetumpka Police Chief, Celia Dixon, Fired
The Wetumpka city council has voted to fire police chief, Celia Dixon.
Dixon and Deputy Chief Tony Crenshaw were placed on leave in July.
Today, the city council held a meeting to present the allegations against Dixon, which city officials are calling personel issues.
Dixon has seven days to request a post-disciplinary hearing, where she can appeal the ruling.
