Montgomery city  officials say they want to make state prisons more accommodating to mental health patients.
Officials with Envision 2020 attended today’s mayor’s briefing at city hall to discuss improving mental heathcare in the area.
The goal of the healthy minds network is to create a coordinated system that provides effective and reliable mental health services.
Mayor Todd Strange says local groups are trying to help solve that issue as well as prison overcrowding.
