Auburn/ LSU Teams Arrive in Montgomery before the Big Game

The 5th ranked Auburn Tigers rolled into Montgomery with faithful fans cheering them on outside the Renaissance Hotel.
The fans greeted the players and coaches with “war eagles” and cheers.
Auburn’s one loss during last year’s regular season was to LSU.
But fans say this year will be different.
“oh, yeah we got a score to settle,” said one Auburn fan.
“They beat us last year, but this year we’re coming hard,” said Auburn fan Allie Henderson.
Auburn is ranked 5th and LSU is ranked 15th in the AP polls.
But, still, some are a little nervous.
“It’s gonna be a close game. I just want to see what Malzahn got up his sleeve,” said Auburn fan Wallace Harper.
Others have no fear when it comes to their Auburn Tigers.
“No, not at all. I just think after last weekend we’ll have some stuff hammered out and our guys are gonna be good to go. It’s LSU weekend. They’re coming to town. We’re looking for pay back,” said Auburn fan Macon Chandler.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the street… LSU fans say THEIR tigers are ready for the fight.
“I think this is the break out game. Brandon Harris is going to show his stuff and we’ll repeat last year’s performance,” said LSU fan Henry Olinde.
And some say 2nd ranked Oregon’s fall to Arizona last night just might be a sign of things to come.
“I think it will set the tone and get all the hopes up for the teams that are lower ranked to pull out a win and pull it up and reschedule everybody for the rankings for this week coming. A good opportunity,” said Michael Olinde.
As for game predictions, it’s anybody’s guess.
“The game tomorrow is gonna be a tight one. But LSU is gonna pull it out. Freshman QB gonna show us who he is. Auburn, look out, we’re coming!” said one LSU fan.
