Pioneer Days start Friday
Close to a thousand students will step back into the mid-eighteen hundreds this Friday in Troy.Â
Â
Final preparations are underway getting the Pioneer Museum’s ground ready for it’s annual Pioneer Days.Â
Â
Friday and Saturday the public is invited to enjoy reenactors and entertainment.Â
Â
This year is even more important for organizers, after a fire in May destroyed one of their barns.
Â
Executive Director Kari Barley said, “We are non profit so we are based of admissions and things like that coming out and enjoying yourself and bringing your family for a good time is a wonderful way to support the museum. “
Â
The museum is located on US Higway 231 North of Troy. Tickets are $6, children five and under are free.Â
