Court Unseals Divorce File of Ala Federal Judge

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) – A court has unsealed the divorce record of an Alabama federal judge arrested on a domestic violence charge in Atlanta in August.

Documents from the 2012 breakup between U.S. District Judge Mark Fuller and then-wife Lisa Fuller show the two eventually reached a settlement. That agreement remains under seal.

Lisa Fuller signed an affidavit saying the two had numerous disagreements and arguments. But there aren’t claims of physical violence in the documents made public.

A state judge unsealed the records at the request of the Alabama Media Group following a hearing Friday in Montgomery.

Fuller and his ex-wife had signed a joint request in 2012 asking to keep the file private because it contained financial information.

Fuller is under pressure to resign because of the arrest involving his current wife.
