Million Dollar Drag Race Draws Fans

Race fans flocked to the Montgomery Motor Speedway today for the Million Dollar Drag Race. Each race paid out $20,000 to the winner, and today’s race has the biggest prize up for grabs – one million dollars to the winner. It’s not all about the money, though.

 

Race announcer Jared Pennington says it’s about the people too. “We’re out here competing, everybody wants to win. Everybody’s going at it as hard as they can but in the end this is a major gathering of the finest people in the world that are all here to have a good time, help one another, and celebrate whoever wins.”

 

The Million Dollar Drag Race continues through October 26th.
